Catz, may at first look like a marketing maneuver, but if you dive into the game and put out the effort to raise this virtual feline, you'll see that the firm has seemingly placed much more thought into the title. Your mobile kitty is a fuzzball capable of such endearment you now have to wonder where Nintencats is, after all.
It may be a simple 2D game, but this little mixture of Asteroids and Galaga is incredibly good looking (for what it is) and super fun to play for one minute or 60. And yes, it's a little reminiscent of Fantasvision.

Luxor is an Egyptian-themed Zuma/Arkanoid hybrid that appears to have been designed for more action-oriented players. You still shoot colored balls at lines of other balls to destroy them (via color-matching) before they reach your pyramid. However, in Luxor's case, your ball turret can move along the bottom of the screen like an Arkanoid paddle, and all of the action takes place above you.
The biggest selling point in Black Plague is the physics-dependent design. The Lovecraft-influenced story about a young man investigating an underground base in Greenland--apparently contaminated with some sort of infection--is decidedly weird, but not nearly as original as the puzzle design. Everything in the game is based on real-world logic, but not the Bizarro World nonsense that dominates traditional adventure games. All of the problems here are tied to accurate physics and environments that are packed with objects that can be directly manipulated. There are no pixel hunts, no running around to pull a dizzying succession of levers, no directing laser beams at mirrors, and no slapping tape on a cat to make a moustache. Here you simply explore spooky underground settings to try to escape by picking up and sliding around boxes, rocks, chairs, crates, flares, or other sorts of detritus.
Deadhunt is a first-person shooter in which you must destroy zombies, skeletons, and other undead enemies while trying to stay alive for as long as possible.

Once there the player finds the town strangely quiet - until he discovers dead bodies, frighten soldiers and scientists running away from the town. It is at this point that the player first meets a sinister shadow being that offers him help and guidance for his adventure. As well as his advice, the shadow figure gives the player his servant – the Demon, which the gamer can morph into at anytime and whose physical strength and magic attacks will play an important part of the adventure.

As many of you might already know if you've played Worms 3D or any of the 2D Worms games of the past, the point of the game is to strategically position your of cute cartoon worms and annihilate the enemy team through the use of over-the-top weaponry.
Blast is probably the most fun puzzle title in a long time. There are a lot of different modes to play, ranging from Puzzle, to Tournament, to matches between the PC or multiplayer with someone else. Puzzle mode is easily the longest of the bunch, with dozens of levels for you to conquer, always adding a twist to spice up play. Other modes and characters can be unlocked through Puzzle mode as well. Tournament isn't exactly a tournament, but rather a high-score challenge in which you can participate in. There are about eight modes available from the beginning, and more can be unlocked.
NFS Underground is a frantic, fast paced racing game that will appeal to all street-racing fans. Hardcore racing fans or purist might be a little turned off by the amount of customization that can be done with the cars. But this is really where the fun is at in the game, building “your” car and continuing to modify it by earning style points and money. NFS Underground is an excellent racing game that should please any gamer.

Compared to its predecessor, NFSU2 is more. More city, more courses, more cars, more parts, more style.just more of everything in general. The game is huge: The first five hours of racing in Bayview only amounts to 10 percent on the in-game progression meter, and opening up the fourth and final area of the city takes you to around 25 percent completion. The structure of the game's career mode doesn't stray too far off course: You begin with one car, and from there you must accrue funds by winning local races. Eventually, you will win the support and financial backing of a sponsor, which opens up even more races, autos, and upgrade possibilities.

System Shock 2 is a first-person game that cannot be easily characterized otherwise. The role-playing elements are deeper than they were in the first game, as you're able to personalize your character's initial attributes and abilities and later update them in a variety of significant ways. The game looks and generally feels like a first-person shooter, but the RPG elements and detailed environments give the gameplay more depth.

The concept of Thief is so unique and contrary to most other 3D games. The key here is stealth and agility. If you're hoping to kick some butt, please look elsewhere. You can (and sometimes are required to) go through an entire level without ever hurting or killing anyone. The shadows are your friends. The less you are visible the better, and the fewer confrontations you engage in, the higher your chances for success. If you run at guards with your sword unveiled, well, let's just say that I hope you save often. Garrett's real forte is the art of not being seen, sneaking by his enemies, and leaving without a trace.

Sega Rally 2 pits drivers against the computer, other humans, and nature. This PC edition features advanced weather effects, a new graphics engine, and a game mode not available in the console or arcade versions. These random weather effects change with the seasons and affect gamers' driving abilities. For example, the rain produces puddles on the tracks that continue to get bigger as the storm persists. These conditions affect drivers' speed and maneuverability, and can even make them fishtail around the track. Intense snow can build up on the road and players can skid on the ice. Even the glare from the bright sun can lead the best driver into problems.
State of Emergency takes a classic videogame genre, the beat-'em-up, once dominant in the arcades with Final Fight, Streets of Rage, and Double Dragon, and has stretched, widened, and infused it with a modern theme and more than 250 characters in screen at once. In short, it's a riot game. You riot. You break windows, blow up cars, shoot people, and break as much as possible, and it's an enormous release, a smashing good time, and hell-bent, non-stop action.
JoWood's puzzle game, Neighbors from Hell, is a reality TV spoof that plays like Spy vs. Spy meets The Incredible Machine with a dash of Little Computer People and Lemmings thrown in. The discovery of the `Alchemy Treatise` by Leonardo Da Vinci provides an incomplete formula for creating the Elixir of Life. Swap elemental gems to make matches of the same type and size to merge and distill each element. In the spirit of Rogue Squadron, Battle for Naboo is an arcade style shooter that pops you into the ****pit of one of seven different vehicles and sets you off on a bunch of different missions. Planetary battles is what Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is all about. Hacker Evolution features a realistic and enjoyable game. It’s quite fun to type in commands, discover new servers, and follow the game’s adequate storyline. While the actions you complete may be repetitive, the methods are different and having varied answers means that you can play the same level with different means each time.

Carmageddon TDR 2000, the sequel to Carmageddon and Carmageddon II, was a controversial action-racing-vehicular combat video game developed by Torus Games and released in 2000. The game was released in the United Kingdom on September 1, 2000, and on December 14 in North America. One of the most controversial aspects of Carmageddon TDR 2000 was that pedestrians could be killed by means of burning or graphic collisions; that could include dismemberment. Some versions of the game for other countries replaced the human pedestrians with zombies, actually only changing the color of the blood from red to green, but patches were circulated on the Internet that revert the game to its original state.

Rogue Spear is a shooter of a different cut. One without health packs and super-futuristic weapons. Death is as close as one shot away -- and since you're usually taking on a superior number of forces, the game stresses solid strategy and planning instead of running in with guns blazing. While your anti-terrorist organization will see action on three continents, most of Rogue Spear takes place in parts of Russia and the former Soviet states. Those familiar with Rainbow Six will be able to jump right into Rogue Spear without having to even crack open the manual.

Turok 2 supposedly picks up where Turok 1 ended. Turok (that wacky Native American), after defeating the badass at the end of the first game, throws the superlatively powerful Chronoscepter (the big blue explosion weapon from the first game for those of you who remember) into a volcano. Bad move. This awakens an intergalactic near-do-well insectoid called the Primagen. It is now up to Turok, who has gotten a haircut, to put a wrench into the foul plans of the Primagen over the course of 6 massive levels.
Like all standard first-person-shooter games, Blood 2 has some semblance of plot or storyline, just ta get you pumped up and ready to kill. You are Caleb, undead wanderer (and the god-killing badass from the original Blood). Having thoroughly gutted the ancient god Tchernobog (who has evidently died 15 times earlier since the history of history), you've been content to sit back for a few decades in a semi-retired state. The Cabal however, have other plans. These guys are the cult of Tchernobog, and have through the years pooled their investments into a burgeoning multinational, "Cabalco" (gee…who would've guessed?). They're big, they're powerful, and they have influence everywhere. Now they want you dead, so that their god can live again.
Hidden & Dangerous represents the new breed of realistic squad-based action games, which demand shooter-style reflexes only in short controlled bursts and only during those dangerous moments when the enemy is actually in sight. Otherwise, high tension and anticipation dominate gameplay, as you carefully edge your way through enemy territory, hoping you aren't detected en route. In Hidden & Dangerous in particular, you'll edge your way through all kinds of German-occupied territory during World War II, commanding up to four soldiers to get in, clear up, and get out of situations that would be completely overwhelming if not for the element of surprise on your side.

While the original was a fine game, it had a little problem of only looking nice on those expensive 3Dfx video cards. Quake II, meanwhile, was much more forgiving, and many of us took it into our hardcore hearts and fragged each other into delightful oblivion until the wee hours of the morning. It offered a streamlined and fluid brutality that's still satisfyingly memorable all these years later. It was also quite friendly to amateur creators, granting the community a treasure chest of maps, character models, character skins, game modes, and more.

If you've been following the Heretic series, you know you play Corvus, a tall, strapping young lad of the Sidhe race, sporting pointy, elfin ears and a slender body, much akin to his race's features. His years spent in the Outer Worlds have molded our hero into a tough mofo', forcing him to learn the hard way how to survive behind enemy lines. After years away, he finally finds his way back to home sweet home… but alas if only that were the end. It turns out an evil horde has been spreading a manifested plague throughout the land, infecting his people and turning them into blood-hungry zombies. He must find a way to stop this madness. His mastery of magic and his trusty pseudo axe-staff have taken him this far, and now it's up to you to take him the rest of the way.

By the time you discover what's really going on, you will be overwhelmed and puzzled, with a one thing on your mind - how to stay alive.

The biggest selling point in Black Plague is the physics-dependent design. The Lovecraft-influenced story about a young man investigating an underground base in Greenland--apparently contaminated with some sort of infection--is decidedly weird, but not nearly as original as the puzzle design. Everything in the game is based on real-world logic, but not the Bizarro World nonsense that dominates traditional adventure games. All of the problems here are tied to accurate physics and environments that are packed with objects that can be directly manipulated. There are no pixel hunts, no running around to pull a dizzying succession of levers, no directing laser beams at mirrors, and no slapping tape on a cat to make a moustache. Here you simply explore spooky underground settings to try to escape by picking up and sliding around boxes, rocks, chairs, crates, flares, or other sorts of detritus.

Carmageddon TDR 2000, the sequel to Carmageddon and Carmageddon II, was a controversial action-racing-vehicular combat video game developed by Torus Games and released in 2000. The game was released in the United Kingdom on September 1, 2000, and on December 14 in North America. One of the most controversial aspects of Carmageddon TDR 2000 was that pedestrians could be killed by means of burning or graphic collisions; that could include dismemberment. Turok 2 supposedly picks up where Turok 1 ended. Turok (that wacky Native American), after defeating the badass at the end of the first game, throws the superlatively powerful Chronoscepter (the big blue explosion weapon from the first game for those of you who remember) into a volcano. Bad move. This awakens an intergalactic near-do-well insectoid called the Primagen. It is now up to Turok, who has gotten a haircut, to put a wrench into the foul plans of the Primagen over the course of 6 massive levels.

Quake 2 (Full)
While the original was a fine game, it had a little problem of only looking nice on those expensive 3Dfx video cards. Quake II, meanwhile, was much more forgiving, and many of us took it into our hardcore hearts and fragged each other into delightful oblivion until the wee hours of the morning. It offered a streamlined and fluid brutality that's still satisfyingly memorable all these years later. It was also quite friendly to amateur creators, granting the community a treasure chest of maps, character models, character skins, game modes, and more.
